Hi,
thanks for reporting this error, but I need to now how it happened..
could you tell me more on:
- how did you start Saturne? did you use the Code Saturne terminal from CAELinux menu?
- when does this error occure: when runnging the GUI, running the preprocessor or during simulation?
- is it systematic or does it depend on the case?

Thanks in advance for these details

PS: I have tested saturne on several Med meshes with MPI and it has always been working, but it is very important to start saturne from the Code-Saturne terminal or to source its environment :
[code:1]. /opt/saturne/env.sh[/code:1]
This installation of Saturne is linked to Salome-Meca libs so it needs to be executed in a special environment..<br /><br />Post edited by: Administrator, at: 2010/08/10 09:11

Hi,

I started saturne from the wizard.
This error happens during simulation where saturne tells if the simulation was successful or not.
The simulation is not symmetric at all. It's a box with several small holes as (exhaust) and one big hole for inlet (actually I gave a negative velocity to simulate suction, thus fluid goes out from this big cut out).
I have noticed that when I use multiple processors , I often run on error like [code:1]SIGHUP signal (hang-up) intercepted.[/code:1] but not with single processor.

BTW, Im using virtual box for this. system is a Xeon X5450 @ 3.0Ghz, 1.5G ram

Thanks

I tried the latest one and its going smoothly, although I still get the keyboard anomalies and lack of internet connectivity on 2 different machines. I know next to nothing about linux but there's probably an easy fix.

It may be that your default keyboard is set to a different region/country than what it actually is. Go to System-&gt; Preferences -&gt; Keyboard and then to the &quot;Layouts&quot; tab and make sure the appropriate layout is selected.

Is you wired and wireless internet out?

Hi,

I burned the image with Imageburn, however, I couldn't install caelinux 2010. The error I got has to do something with the installer, I was redirected to a 'clean desktop' only showing the panel at the bottom. What goes wrong???
