CAELinux 2010? was created by Peter Halverson
I've been hanging around the Code-Aster forums and couldn't help but notice some great things in the mix for CaeLinux 2010. Is there a release date yet? Or should I start compiling my on MPI version?

I think what would be better than another release of CAElinux is thorough build instructions, i.e. I've never been able to build code-saturne completely, and I don't have a 64-bit machine.

What's that old saying: give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime.

However, not everyone is a fisherman and it is very nice to receive free, fresh fish.<br /><br />Post edited by: Matthew Bondy, at: 2010/04/14 01:47

Jacob,

have a look at
cfd.mace.manchester.ac.uk/twiki/bin/view/Saturne/WebHome

This should satisfy your needs. Either a plugin for Salome 5.1.3 or a fully integrated salome-saturne solution.

Yes, at cfd.mace.manchester.ac.uk/twiki/bin/view/Saturne/SalomeSaturne one can download Salome_4.1.4_withSaturne.tgz ready to run.

Yes
I have the same Question

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS is out

Time for an upgrade, so Do I wait for a new CAElinux ( which is my preferred , as its great , thank you )

or do I start compiling my own ( not my preferred as I am not so strong in this area )

kind regards

Stephen
