CAELinux 2012 Build

So many of us are waing on the new version of CAELinux which may use Ubuntu 12.04 but I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, that only one person is build this engineering fork of ubuntu. Well how can we help you? I was thinking of getting a list of the software you have installed, installing them on Ubuntu or Kubuntu 12.04 and testing out all the custom scripts. I've never really done something like this before but I love this OS and would like it to thrive.

It would be nice to help to build CAELinux by the way you are proposing but It will be even better getting a development schedule to properly know how the 2012 version is build and how people can help to bring it to live.

I'm also avaiable to help on its development.

Ive just upgraded , ubuntu 12.04 . Salome has gone south...

I think the bashrc has been rewritten

The OpenFOAM Workshop seems to be using CAELinux... I wonder if it is the 2011 version or somehow updated?

The md5 differs from the 2011 Version. So it should be something different.

I think, this is just an openfoam related special version. I.e. there ist no CAElinux section within the Applications menue.
