hi JMB,
PDF995 is based on pdftohtml but it gives a better output than pdftohtm. I used this and the output is quite ok but I have a hard time translating it in google since the document needs to be online. I do not have a page where i can point google to and have the translated version and besides its not practical to do it one by one. If you can automate translating it to English I will try to convert this pdf files to html as much as I could. I myself needs this documents to learn.
Thank you.

Hello Florante,
I am glad to see you take the initiative to help in translations. If you can convert the PDFs to decent HTML documents with formulas and figures, I am sure the admin here will be able to assist us once again in this translation effort.
Do you have all 3000 or so PDF documents from the Code-Aster site? If not they are available here via the Wiki, I believe.
Hello admin,
Could you use your connections to get the 3000 or so documents translated using Systran again please? This time we can get better quality results I believe. That will be a n enormous benefit to the Code-Aster community and for CAELinux Beta 3B!
Regards
JMB

Wow Great NEWS !!
If you can manage to convert all the PDFs to a good quality HTML (I know that JMB has some batch scripts for pdftohtml),
I will then do all my possible to have it translated automatically in English.
Let me informed of your progresses as I am also convienced that it will be an enormous help for non-french users of CAELinux & Code-Aster !

Admin,
I have uploaded the 296 Udocs in HTML format in the wiki. Is that ok? let me know if you have problem with that way or you have an ftp where I can place it there for you.
Thank you very much.
