Hi Eric,
thank you for the information, I have never experienced this error, but I will try to find out why it occures.
Could you please give me some details on your network configuration: do you have a router with DHCP or are you using static IP addressing?
Thanks

Hi Eric,
thank you for the information. I will try to reproduce this error, but could you please give me more details:
1) try to launch Salome in a terminal: /opt/salome/Salome.sh
2) try to get the following network config info:
cat /etc/resolv.conf
and
ifconfig
What I suspect is a wrong nameserver configuration that I left from an old local network configuration, and that I did not see during testing (tested either not connected at home or connected to my lab's network).
Thank you for your help

Hi Eric,
thank you for the info. I can see that your DHCP configuration worked properly.
But concerning SALOME, could you post the messages that you see in the terminal when you start /opt/salome/Salome.sh ?
Thanks.
PS: I have tried to reproduce this error, but no success.
