ASTK, job pending... for ever

Could the problem have anything to do with where on my work station Salome-Meca was installed? It's not under /opt. Instead it's under /home..

I might be on to something now..

I noticed that when I change things in astk's "configuration servers" window the following is printed out in the "messages" window:



So, the configuration must be fixed. These are my current settings:



The only thing I know regarding the server configuration form, is that it says "peter-desktop" in the system monitor, and I type "peter" as the user name when I log on to the computer.

I will look around to see if I can find some good instructions about the configuration settings. Any advice on the settings or other are greatly appreciated though!

If your system is stand-alone you could consider renaming it using the proper system configuration utility to have hostname "localhost".
