Hi,
I tried too, but NO result.
System wasn't updated because it says 'release is not official'.
Perhaps because i did all in Italian?
Ciao
Piero

Hoi Pierluigi
I am running Ubuntu 11.04 and Code Aster 11.00.10 (not sure about the last two digits) and Salome 6.3.1. Salome now and than causes a sigsev (or the like) error and I need to restart. Code Aster and ASTK run fine. Eficas I donot know right now, I donot use it that much.
But indeed I had a lot of trouble upgrading from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04.
And CAELinux still doesnot run, as far as I know on 11.04. So if you have a running system, donot change it, stay to the LTS version (as Noel advices). Only if you have a lot of time, donot get annoyed if your FEA doesnot run for a few weeks and like to tweak the system, or cannot resist for whatever reason, you may upgrade.
