I have made progress with the CAELinux image on Amazon EC2.
I just made my developments publicly available for you to test how it works. I called this new kind of version "CAELinux in the Cloud". I am also working on a Cluster management application that would automate the configuration of a set of ec2 instances to make them behave as a cluster: setup SSH, NFS shares and application configuration files to run large jobs with MPI.

The ultimate goal is to offer a paid-for annual subsription based service for the Cluster oriented version (at a very cmpetitive price). Offering such a service will help me to maintain the develpments of all the other free versions.
