Installation problem: Please Help
i would love to install caelinux 2009, but it does not work.
Neither live version nor hd-installation.
I put the (checked) DVD in, start and can choose e.g. "live"
Then comes the ubuntu logo and then
BusyBox v1.1.3 ...
(initramfs)
And now?

6 x 2GB RAM PC2-3200R-333
1xFloppy 1.44"
2x DVD-RW von Plextor 1xModel: PX-716A, 1xModel: PX-800A
Adaptec AIC-29320A SCSi Controller PCI

Changing Bios SATA-Raid-Options-ROM = Deact to Akt
did not work
Changing Bios SCSI Option ROM= Act to Deact
did not work
I do not have the option "live all_generic_ide" (better: i cant find it).I have 3 Scsi HD and 2 dvd-drives (not scsi) from wich i try to start caelinux.
Where can i find the option "live all_generic_ide" or are there other ideas?

Use the following kernel parameter when booting from the Ubuntu 8.04 cdrom: all_generic_ide
Here is what I did:
1. Boot from the Ubuntu cdrom
2. At the first screen, press "ESC" to leave the menu.
3. You get a warning, stating that you are leaving the graphical boot menu, click OK to do this.
4. At the prompt, enter "live all_generic_ide"

I got the menue (live....hd, six options)
boot:
