[Solvd]Errorcode 139, ABNORMAL_ABORT exit code = 1

Hey,

I'm not able to get my mesh file to be read in the solver. I've partitioned my geometry in Salome-Meca, and exported the mesh to .med format. I've tried solving it using the Aster module in Salome-Meca, as well as ASTK Aster. Both solvers exit with the same error code 139(pasted below).

Plz advice as to what it is that I have to do.

Hey guys,

I'm using Salome-Meca 2011.2, with Code-Aster 10.5. Also using ASTK Aster 11.0 MPI. Should I be upgrading to a more recent version? Would that help?

Hello d_riel,
it seems your mesh doesn't contain any of the groups Face_1, Face_2,Line_1,..
You should create a proper mesh. If you created these groups in the geometry module,go to the mesh module, right cick on your mesh and do "create groups from geometry" and add the necessary groups.
If it still doesn't work, please attach the new mesh.

Thanks for the reply. Beginners mistake, I'm really new here.

Regarding the error 139, I swiched to Salome-Meca 2012.2, and its working perfectly.
