meshing troubles was created by antoine
Hi,
I'm building a simple box defined by two points. So I create 2 points, then the corresponding box. I have no troubles with this. Then, I translate one of the point defining the box. The point is well translated. But the box shape is still unchanged, as if, once created, the box is no more dependent on the point. But in the tree displayed in the left menu, the point appears as one sub-object of the box. Can anyone help on that ??
I'm trying in fact do modify an object by modifying one of its sub-object without having to delete and re-create the object.

Antoine,

Salome is NOT a parametric modeller. So any changes to the entities that form super-entities are NOT propagated \"downstream\". Your only recourse in Version 2.2.8 is to re-create the geometry from the begining.

However in Ver 3.2.1 there is a Python script export feature that allows one to subsequently modify the Python script using a text editor and making Salome then read this altered script.

Hope this helps you out.
