Hi to all forum,
I have a question about defeaturing capabilities of Salomè.
I would like if there are some tool to defeature the CAD .step or .iges imported into salomè.
I see that there are some automatic defeaturing tooll as process shape but is not so pawerfull.
Is there also other toll to not considered some edge inside the geometri to improve the mesh quality?
If you see the attached .jpg in the gritical area after the mesh process the element will be very very small if there isn't the defeaturing the only way to improve is to doing an submesh on face after 3D mesh.
But this approach sometimes do not improve the mesh.
In some commercial software as Hypermesh there are some powerfull tool calling defeature and edge toogle, if there is something similar could be very very intersting.

Best Regards
Jacopo
