Salomè 4.1.4 files corruption was created by Luigi
Hi to all forum,

Sometimes, when I save a file, an error message occours "Can't save file //.../*.hdf, permission denied" (see attachment). After this, the original file is corrupted; if I close and restart Salomè, all datas are missing. Even if I save as another name, datas are missing. When the message pops up, in any case datas are already lost!

In addition, some times (but not always), this message comes out when I have errors type "SIGSEV 'segmentation violation' detected" (also in attachment).

I am running Salomè on Ubuntu 8.04 (64 bit), on Intel i7 quad core, 12 GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro FX 1700 (512 Mb RAM).

I had the same problem also in a simple pentium 4 with pcoslinux 2008 32 bit with 2GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce.

Has somebody any Idea why it happens? This is very bad problem, you loose all your work from the last backup (if any)!

thanks in advance for your help, best regards.

Luigi
