Salome Aster interaction

Hi,
I shell meshed in Salome. Aster complains that part of the elements are 2d (the edges). I had to delete the edge elements and renumber nodes and elements in order to have Aster working. Is there another option?
When exporting to med file from 2.2.8 I found there is a different orientation and label of the axis. In fact in post process I realised I was applying the loads in the wrong direction.
Is it a bug or am I missing something?
