Geometry Module - Import

Hi,

I'm new to CAELinux, so I hope this isn't a dumb question:

I have converted a solid model to a *.sat and *.igs and have tried to import them with no success. The error I get is : Operation Failed, Import driver failed.
I am running a CAELinux through VMware player, Salome 3.2.6. Does the version of the *.sat or *.igs matter? I'm sure the file format is ok because I can open it in my other solid modeler.

Hi,
I tested an Assy model exported to stp, sat, and igs.
The sat file wasn't imported, while the other formats were imported smoothly.
So I guess it could be related to the file version. Try with stp, if you can.
I used VMware version of Calculix 2007.
