Addition of results from load cases

Hi to all the good people on the forum.

What I would like to do, and I have no idea where to even start or if it can be done, is to add the results from different load cases to get the combined effect of the different loads.

To illustrate with a very simple example of what I am after: Say I have a cantilever beam with LC1 an axial load and LC2 a bending end load. Then I want to get the total stress in the beam by adding the results of LC1 and LC2. The analysis is linear-static.

I will appreciate it if someone can point me to an example of how it is done, or tell me how it is to be done.
