problems with run of piston demo

Hello,

I got the system running from the harddisk by modifying the initrd and linuxrc file.

Will walking through the demo I run into problems when I run it in ASTK.
The errror message is:
prepare environment in /tmp/interactif.9452

_FILE_NOT_FOUND path does not exist : /opt/aster/STA8.1/asterd

Indeed this file doesn' exist.

Should I do something in advance?

in ASTK I left the configuration option for the domain name empty.

Hi,

this seems to be a problem with your configuration of ASTK. Are you running as root or did you copy the original /root/.astkrc folder in your home folder?
If you experience other problems with ASTK, try to restore .astkrc from the /root/.astkrc on the DVD.

I think that the error you have comes from the fact that you try to run the DEBUG version of Aster (executable asterd), try to disable the DEBUG option, and this should launch asteru instead of asterd.
