Minimal example for exporting displaced mesh was created by Stefan
Hi!
I have created a little test example (see attachment)
I made a little linear static example, and extracted the displacement field
and applied it to a new mesh and exported it with astk.
The Problem is, that the mesh looks very largely deformed. (See deform.med)
I already found the culprit: If I change the Young modulus from MPa to Pa then everything
works fine. So somehow the Material data has to be applied a second time or else the deformation
is that large. But I don't know how, and I didn't find something on the manuals either...
Update: I have tried it with less force, and then it also looks better, but it doesn't match the results of the postprocessed shape in salome meca
Edit: Problem solved I'm an idiot .... the postprocess module has a different representation of the displacement (scaling) while the deformed mesh reflects the actual displacement.
But I think my example may help some people with exporting a deformed mesh!

Thanks for providing the example. I'll keep it for future reference
