Hello ! : )

I try to simulate a bi-material wall (earh and concrete) :

the earth is under the concrete... I try to see the stress applicated on the wall (first only gravity)...

File Attachment:

File Name: Study1.hdf.zip
File Size:593 KB

I don't understand realy how to use DEFI_CONTACT in code_aster...

I try to use a tutorials of CLAWS on LIASON MAIL... but I don't succeed too !! :(

Anyone has an idea?

thx a lot!

the .mess file and a sketch / mesh of the problem would be more relevant :)

you know it's an example here... :s

I try to "LIAISON MAIL" the meshes of the concrete and the earth... but I haven't great results! (like in your tuto)

So, today, I'll try again, and if it doesn't sound good, I'll post all the files! :S

thanks!

Hate to disappoint, but you get a EXECUTION_CODE_ASTER_EXIT_3699-dge-desktop=0 which means the simulation actually completed without errors :)

There are alarms however. According to the alarms, DEGE_ELNO, EFGE_ELNO fields are not available for this type of finite element (3D). DEGE I don't know, but EFGE is for 1D objects I believe?

Furthermore, you're trying to calculate node-fields (NOEU) which do not have a corresponding element (ELNO) field. If you want to calculate the EFCA_NOEU field, you must calculate EFCA_ELNO beforehand.
There are a few exceptions (FORC_NODA/REAC_NODA etc.) which do not require the same field to be calculated in CALC_ELEM.

I know there are several examples of civil engineering (concrete, dams, tunnel excavation etc) both in the validation cases and on the forum, so dig 'em up :)

Hopes this gets you a little further.

it wasn't the good .comm... and .mess too!

but, ALARM doesn't bother me! :D

I've found a thing : Salome put a high coefficient for showing the results... so the displacement is overevaluate in the images!!! What I think was an error... wasn't!!! :D

SO, I'll try to see your other examples... I try to simulate contact between two (or more) materials... what do you think about?

Thanks for the response! :D
