Hi,
I would like to know on how to model friction load on code_aster.
The set up is a simply supported shaft with journal bearing and a belt at one end driving the shaft at a specified speed and belt tension. some load maybe applied in between the journal support.
case 1. Journal bearing are align perfectly
case 2: various center to center mis-alignment
Required :
a. stress on the journal
b. stress on the shaft
c. temperature on the journal
I do not know if torque load and rpm is supported by code_aster.
I really appreciate if you input guys and how that you can guide me the right direction.
Thanks
Florante
