Earth dam again... was created by João Marcelino
Hi all!
I am trying to use Salome and Code-Aster to perform calculations to simulate the construction of a earth dam. As soils are non-linear materials it is very important to try to follow the stress path due to the construction of the fill of the dam.
In order to do so I have to “add” layers of fill material that will load the existing layers. I have tried to discover how to do it but I haven't been able to do so.
It's a matter of changing the mesh (perhaps considering submeshes) and add both the displacements and the stress increments. But that is the theory, any clues?
Thanks in advance
João Marcelino
