Hi Forum

I think that I finally managed to compile and configure Code Aster in Debian Lenny...

I have used Intel Compilers

When I run astk --check it reports no errors, I run the limited test suite and only one error is reported out of 30 tests...

I have been trying to run some of the tutorials.. some go ok, while some others do not...

When astk starts, the message in the message window is ....

That last part about remote copy protocol seems like harmful to the proper functioning of Code Aster...

in my .rhosts i have

iskandhar alex
iskandhar localhost

my hostname is iskandhar and my user account is alex...

Is the above message normal...?!
are my .rhosts properly configured...!?

I have managed to run some testcases proposed in the tutorials in the wiki... while some others failed to run... is this because of a cranked configuration, or is it normal....?!

Thanks in advance

Alex

[EDIT]

Avccording to Code Aster forum, the message of Standard error in the begining messages window can be safely ignored...

If the limited test suite runs OK, and if astk --check reports no ssh problems, which is the case, then the installation is functional.

The error in running some test cases in the Tutorials section of CaeLinux site can be atributed to differences in syntax in the *.comm files from the tutorials proposed, and the current version of Code Aster, ( I am using version 9.4... )

Best regards
