Error running Astk from Salome was created by Stuart Holland
Hi,
I get the following error when trying to solve a Code_Aster case, created from the Code_Aster wizard:
'error while submitting the code_aster calculation case, check the excution parameters (server,...)'
on trying to edit the LinearStatics case I get the warning:
'Advanced parameters: error while getting information from the Code_Aster server -> localhost'
case parameters come up fine on the data tab, but on the parameters tab the ASTK Services doesn't have a version no. (I'm using 9.2) on trying to refresh I get the same error as above.
I have Local ticked,
Host is localhost (greyed out)
Login is caelinux (greyed out)
Directory is /opt/salome-meca-2008.1-gpl/aster/astk/astk_serv/bin
Finally, if you look up the ASTK manually using Konqueror, under 'system:/applications/cae console/code-aster it opens up as version 1.5.5 without a problem. Although when I try and run my *.comm file it comes up with the comment ,<error 026> you can't run a study without any Aster command file?
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Managed to solve this.... seemed to be a problem with the LocalHost not being referenced correctly
