code aster solve but do not show any result was created by seb
Hi,
I made all the drawing and the mesh. But after solve (without any error notification), the post pro do not open. So I ca not see any result
Somebody know what can I do ?
I notice that this probleme appear only with a quadratique mesh, but the precision is not the same
And sometimes I see on my screen:
Unexpected Error
Type= exceptions.KeyError
Value=6
this message appear when I try to solve a simple code aster wizzard
thanks for your help<br /><br />Post edited by: barbier, at: 2009/05/21 10:26

Code_Aster release : STA11.4 on OpenSUSE 12.3 64 bits - EDF/Intel version

First question: I get that too for some reason. If it's not a too big of a calculation, run it again and it will be loaded into Post-Pro.
Or activate Post-Pro and import your med file instead.

I have seen this message usually appears when there is a problem with the path of the .comm file. Check the path doesn't have any folder with spaces on its name, like "/home/caelinux/My documents/" for example.
If so, just change the path of the .comm file or the name of the problematic folder

Pedro,
I'm just getting started in CAELinux and I had repeatedly struggled with the "exceptions.KeyError" until I read your post. I had a "space" character in my path. How frustrating! I spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong. Now that I've renamed the path it works great every time. Thanks!
