Analysis running on Windows no on Caelinux...Why? was created by Jacopo
Hello to all forum,
the file attached running whitout problem on Code-Aster 9.0 Windows distribution but on Caelinux distribution send an error said me that there is no CPU time when arrive to 60% solution.
The pc on Caelinux distribution is more powerfull than the Pc on WINDOWS distribution, How can solve this problem? How can run Code-ASter with more than 1 CPU? The Pc with caelinux distribution is multiprocessor.
Regards
Jacopo

Hi
you can change the maximum CPU time of the solver:
- in Salome Meca: edit code-aster case and set CPU to some high value like 10000
- or in astk: on the top right corner of the window, change the CPU time value to 10000
this should solver this issue .
In principle, Aster can use multiple CPUs , but it has to Be compiled with commercial compilers (that support openMP) , so this option is not active in the version provided with CAElinux.
