Hi everyone.
Did anyone tried to solve a heatsink problem in code-aster or elmer?
The problem is, you have a electronic component screwed to a heatsink.
The component is constantly producing heat at a rate of 15W. The airflow is in one direction of about 10-20m/s. We are to maintain the temperature of the component as low as possible but space is constraining to place a huge heatsink.
I would appreciate if anyone can share thier thoughts.
Thank you.

Hi all,
I have found this in openfoam message board.
openfoam.cfd-online.com/forum/messages/1/6229.html
This is an implementation of conjugate heat transfer simulations.
I am very new to openfoam. I have already ask in the openfoam forum on how to use this codes , the newbie way.
If anybody has experience with Openfoam, can you lend a hand on how to use the code . I would appreciate a lot if you can make a short how to for this.
Thank you.
