DYNA_TRAN_EXPLI contact? was created by Nate
Hello all,
Does anyone know if general contact has been enabled in DYNA_TRAN_EXPLI yet? I am trying to model a simple impact problem, yet is seems as though the contact condition is not being recognized.
Thank you,
Nate

To my knowledge Contact is still not implemented in DYNA_TRANS_EXPLI, but I would also be interested by this feature...
If I remember well, you can use discrete contact conditions called CHOC if I remember well in DYNA_TRANS_MODAL and probably also in DYNA_TRANS_EXPLI: this models a gap between two predefined points and can be used to model simple local contact conditions.
Let me know if you find more information in this field.
