New FE Study

Dear sirs,

To create a new Aster job, I clicked the bulb of \"New FE Study\" in VMware system,and there are only three templates to be choosen,like \"linstatics3D.comn\", \"linstatics3DQuad.comn\" and \" ModalAnalysis3D.comn \". it seems all template is for linear solution only, if I like to do a nonlinear material simulation,what template I should choose for ?

By the way, if I do a contact problem, how can I define the contact element in Salome ? or can I define the contact face in command file editor \"Eficas\" ?

Hi,

If you wanna use nonlinearities and/or contact problems, you have to create your how templates.

All is well explained. The 5th one is about a 2D contact problem.

You can also find examples in the ASTER documentation files or with internet.
