CAE Install has broken everything was created by nick Johnson

				Hi,
I tried CAE using a live USB and liked it, it even fixed an old networking problem I had with Ubuntu which I had given up on solving so I installed it. However, the install won't boot and I can't boot from USB either; any suggestions as to what might be the issue?
On boot I get an Ubuntu startup options list, if I choose any it starts to boot CAE but seems to be having issues with network manager.
If I try to boot from USB I can select CAE (or any other distro using Ventoy) but then I just get a blank screen.
Thanks

Quick update; from an uninformed play in grub I think I must have accidentally set the partition options to lvm. Would this stop a live usb boot?
