Remote access to caelinux on workstation was created by Andrew Eisenhawer
I'd like to access my CAELinux 2013 box remotely, but am having trouble deciding on the best way. I would especially like to access it through my Android phone to check on job progress, and to restart or alter runs if needed. I previously had Ubuntu 14.1 installed and used VNC to do this, but it was not secure (i.e., it was not through SSH).
CAELinux 2013 comes with an X2GO client, but it also apparently has the XFCE desktop, which is not supported by X2GO server. In other words, it can access an X2GO server, but can't be one.
Does anyone have a favorite way to do this, whether with NX or VNC/SSH?

Did you try NX??
There is a client for Android, but I personally could not get that working in my Samsung S3.
