Hi,
I am a rookie on Linux based systems.
I started basic tutorials on OpenFoam and Salome but the i realized new version released. I tried to update OpenFoam 2.1.1 to 2.3 but an error occurs. Also when i tried to install Matlab from Ubuntu Software Center but again it wasn't a success.
I tried to create a folder in OPT folder but it seems like OPT folder was locked.
I checked user permissions and preferences but i couldn't find any restriction as Admin user.
Could you please help me about it. I wish to update Salome and OpenFoam before starting advanced tutorials.
