how to set up network in xubuntu ? was created by cfder
Hello, All
I installed CAELINUX2013 just now. However I could not get connected to internet when in the xubuntu system.
I have no problem with internet connection when in the windows system. I installed both CAELINUX2013 and WINDOWS in the same machine. I connect my computer to the internet using a TPLINK router. In CAELINUX2013, I tried wired connection. No matter what I did, I could not even ping the router. Please could you give me some ideas if you can help.
Thanks in advance.

Once you have booted linux, type 'dmesg' in a terminal and look for an error related to the network. Then post here
