<SOLVED> CAEL-2011/U-10.04-eth0,wlan0 not found

Hi all,

system: ASUS F55C, i3, 8 GB, 750 GB

Multi-Boot: WIN8 - U-13.04 - U-10.04

(hard to get there but thats another story ...)

WIN8 / U-13.04: NO prob finding network and ethernet.

U-10.04 Problem:

lspci shows ATHEROS network device 0032, ethernet device 1091

Loading ath9k but ifconfig or iwconfig still show up in device not found

Surfed hundreds of pages but nothing works.

SUCH configuration probs where you are stuck if not changing the
hardware made life hard with any Linux system during the last
2.5 decades...

Any hints appreciated.

F....d o.... 10.04 - now using 13.04 with CAEL 2013-1 (SALOME-MECA)

Not a nice solution but a pragmatic one ...
