What would be the consequences to update CAELinux to Ubuntu 12.04? What packages would be broken? If I were to update then how would I do a system check to verify that everything is ok?

Hello,

Most of the custom compiled code may simply not run... this is quite a big jump so I would expect that most programs will not run (except Salome-Meca which is purely standalone)

Is there a prevision of when caelinux 2012 will come out, or in which system will you base it (ubuntu 12.04?)?

I think there is only one person putting all this together so it may take some time. I would love to help him but I have to finish my masters and I have a full time job now.
