i'm trying to configurate pclos (CAELINUX 2008) on vmware emulator.. I need to install vmware tools for creating shared folders.... but the konsole reports some error... I've extracted the gz package in /home/caelinux/Documents/Toolz/vmware-tools-distrib
this is what the konsole reports during installation
[code:1][root@localhost ~]# cd /home/caelinux/Documents/Toolz/vmware-tools-distrib
[root@localhost vmware-tools-distrib]# vmware-config-tools.pl

Trying to find a suitable vmhgfs module for your running kernel.

None of the pre-built vmhgfs modules for VMware Tools is suitable for your
running kernel. Do you want this program to try to build the vmhgfs module for
your system (you need to have a C compiler installed on your system)? [yes] y

Using compiler "/usr/bin/gcc". Use environment variable CC to override.

What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
kernel? [/usr/src/linux/include]

The directory of kernel headers (version @@VMWARE@@ UTS_RELEASE) does not match
your running kernel (version 2.6.22.17.tex2). Even if the module were to
compile successfully, it would not load into the running kernel.

[root@localhost vmware-tools-distrib]# [/code:1]
Could anyone help me? Many tks
