Amazon EC2 was created by Peter Halverson
The ec2 version of caelinux works really well. One interesting observation though is that the version of of Code aster is 10.1. I had done all my initial testing on 10.2 and was left with the option of translating it or running it local. With CAELinux I could upgrade aster to the latest version without to much trouble however, moving it to amazon removes that option
