Kernel Updating in CaeLinux 2010 was created by Andy Jones
Hello
In CaeLinux 2010, based on Ubuntu 10.04, Ubuntu wants to update the Kernel and Kernel Headers. Does this break any applications or cause problems? Or is it safe to do?
Question 2: Are there any Ubuntu updates that cause problems?

Upgrading the kernel/headers shouldn't break anything - you might have to reinstall the graphics drivers if you use a proprietary drive like nVidia or ATI.
I haven't noticed any breakage over the last 6 months I've used and updated 10.04.

Hello
I did a complete update and accepted all default updates in CaeLinux 2010 based on Ubuntu 10.04 and am happy to say it worked and there are no problems.
thanks
