Linux Install keeps coming up... was created by Dennis Cox
Thank you all for such a great set of programs and this forum to help in the steep learning curve.
I ran the install icon from within the "Live" Linux to install onto my harddisk. I then removed the DVD and restarted. I have been able to change the screen resolution, go through the CAELinux tutorials, and have done some of my own models. I can save and retrieve all my work. That's all working GREAT!
I have one little problem...
Every time I boot up, the Linux automatically starts the Install program. If I cancel out of the first "Keyboard Layout" dialog, Linux continues the boot process and lets me log in and run everything just fine. This appears to be equivalent to an autoexec.bat from the old DOS days. Is there some place I can edit and stop this Install program from starting?
Thanks again.
