Problems with geometry module was created by Dupront
Hello,

I just installed Salome-Meca-2009.1. My os is
an ubuntu 9.10 and my graphic card is an ATI radeon
hd 4850. Also I installed the proprietary driver
for my graphic card.

When I try to activate the geometry module with option
new, it just crashes.

Here are few things that I noticed:

1- when I execute runSalomeMeca, I have the following
message:

""""
Checking... LD_LIBRARY_PATH
NO !

Checking... PATH
NO ! /usr/X11R6/bin
NO ! personal path .../SALOME-MECA-2009.1-GPL/SALOME/SALOME4/V4_1_4/../Prerequis/debianForSalome-v1_2_0/bin/X11

Checking... PYTHONPATH
NO !
""""

2- if I start opening smesh module then I can open
the geometry module even if everything is not perfect.

2- When I look at the gui, it is obvious that it is
not using properly the proprietary driver.

3- I also installed Salome_5.1.3 and salome alone
is working fine.

If somebody could help me fixing this problem
I would really appreciate.
