PROBLEM WITH CAELINUX LIVE IN AN USB was created by Juan José Jiménez de Cisneros y Fonfría
Dear friends:

I'm new in this software (and almost new in Linux OS), so my first question is about it. I've installed CAELINUX 2009 in a usb, and I start it as LIVE. Everything is all right, but when I'm going to save my work (for example from Salome), there is an error wich tells that I have no permission as an administrataro. What do I have to do?

Thank you very much for this forum.

Regards,

Juan José

Depends very much on where you're saving your work. If you try to save on the stick running as a LIVE disc, it's probably write-protected (haven't tried it) - you should save your work on the hard-drive or on another usb stick.

Mr. Claus, thank you very much for your answer. Then I'll try what you say (I have the distribution Live in a USB, and I will try to save my work in another usb).

Thank you very much,

Juan José
