Trouble installing CAElinux2008

I having trouble installing the new version of CAElinux. I have downloaded and burned the image, but when I trye install it fails to mount the cdplayer. Whats wrong? Can any one help me.

The correct use of the cd is to boot the computer directly from the cdrom instead of the hard disk. It seems to me that you are trying to mount it when the pc is already running, perhaps in a windwos environment.

You need to:

1) check the bios of the pc to see if the boot from cdrom is enabled
2) boot the pc with the caelinux cdrom inserted in the cdrom-drive
3) wiat and see if the pc boots.

If you already did this, excuse me to give this useless information.

May be that your cdrom drive is damaged, or that your cdrom is non suitable for your cdrom, or a combination of both factor.<br /><br />Post edited by: Alessandro, at: 2009/03/02 13:26
