Downloaded - Now what was created by Jeremy Ludlow
I have downloaded the latest RAR file, used WinRAR to extract the files (one large file and two folders) and made one attempt at burning an installation DVD, but the software (Nero) says that the data files are not an ISO image.

I manage dot do this with a previous installation, so I'm a bit confused! :S

Hello,

Perhaps if you post the names of the RAR files you downloaded we can guide you. If you are talking about the bootable DVD iso image, then you probably have the wrong files!

Thou shalt not extract.

Using Nero, select 'burn image to DVD/CD' and you should be on your way :)

ah my mistake - If you want to burn CAELinux to disc, you should download the file with the extension '.iso' - the .rar file is a VMware-image, thus you need WMware :)
