Boot hangs...

Hello,

I have a laptop (Fujistu Siemens Amilo M1439G) and it seems to be impossible to boot linux system live cd.
The system hangs while creating the swap partition.
Does anybody have a solution ?

Hi Laurent,

could you give me some more details:
- do you see the boot prompt (screen with \"F2 for more help\" & some instructions)?
- did you try the following boot options?
livecd noapic nolapic acpi=ht
livecd noapic nolapic acpi=off
- if you can start the boot process, could you describe the error messages when it hangs?

With this informations, I would be able to guide you to find possible solutions.
