I just tried the new Virtual Box software which I downloaded from www.virtualbox.org/ Nifty !! I managed to create a virtual machine and boot up the live cd in a window without leaving the windows OS. I can switch between the two os by pressing the right ctrl key. It was pretty easy to do.
I had previously went through the HD install, but could not get my system to work properly, I has to boot with everything USB's etc unplugged and was wrestling with getting the wireless to work.
I think that you can boot up the VM from the ISO file, I will check that out next.
