What is VoxelMesher? was created by Mikeyen
Hi
According to web www.caelinux.com/CMS3/index.php/articles...inux-202020-released
the VoxelMesher include in CAE Linux feature.
But I can't find it in CAELinux 2020.

How do I lunch VoxelMesher and try it?

Thanks

Hello Mikeyen,

VoxelMesher is a code that I had developed for my own research. It is a FE meshing tool from segmented 3D images (in Analyze HDR or GIPL format, segmentation using ITKsnap and/or ImageJ). It is based on CGAL and TETGEN meshing libraries, it runs in command line or through a simple Python/QT GUI. I developed it for biomechanics (bone-implant modeling, with density based element properties) and material science (micromechanics models from Xray / synchrotron CT images).

I have written a small introduction tutorial that you will find attached below on how to get started using it to generate the mesh of an implanted bone and import it to Salome for FE analysis.

Cheers
