Hi,
I have now DraftSight, I opened successfully my splines but impossible to export a STL file, I don't understand.
DraftSight answers :
: _EXPORT
Specify entities» ALL
0 found
1 was not in drawing area.
Can please someone help me ?
Thanks, best regards,
amka

Code_Aster release : STA11.4 on OpenSUSE 12.3 64 bits - EDF/Intel version

Unfortunately Draftsight is unusable on my system with the latest release (2015beta) due to mouse lag, so I can't help.
Perhaps someone else can chime in.

The STL format is valid only for export solids and not to export simple spline profiles

Hi,
Thanks for the informations
I didn't know that STL is only for volume.
So I looked and found that DraftSight has an "Extrude" prompt command. IT seems that can do the job but careful with DraftSight, it need sometimes two times ENTER to understand...
I tried only with a circle to do a cylinder, all seems to be OK for the moment but I have to do more.
Best regards,
amka
