I have been using CAElinux for my academic work. I had installed nvidia ~173 I think, when I changed it to nvidia ~304, I can't login to graphical interface any more. I tried
Startx
Service lightdm start
Start gdm
But any of them do not solve the problem
---
I would appreciate if anyone can help me.
Thanks a lot

Not much to go after here. What happens when you try those things?

Try 'lsmod' and see if the 'nvidia' module is loaded and check if it's the ONLY graphics module that is loaded i.e. no nouveau module present.

Try to reinstall the current driver, try an older driver and check if it has made any changes to xorg.conf file (there should be a .backup file)
