propose SAGE a open CAS was created by roleic
Hi,
in case it is not yet included or not yet planned to be included I would like to propose a rather new CAS (Computer Algebra System) called SAGE.
It has a web-GUI with notebooks and worksheats and there is also a text-UI based on Ipython.
Additionally it can be programmed with python.
Its command language is based on python
It cooperates with many open and closed CAS like Maxima, GAP, Singular, Maple, Mathematica etc.
It can create and display 2D- and 3D-graphics. Check out the screenshots.
It can be installed as a server to be used as calculation backend for the web-GUI in a LAN or across the internet.

Wowww!!

I am very impressed by this new open source software.
Thank you for your suggestion as I did not know SAGE...
It seeams really powerfull and also very user friendly...
...and much more important, it is based on Python and I LOVE PYTHON !!

I will try to include it in a further release of CAELinux (the time it will take depends on the complexity / problems with the installation procedure...)

Thanks again.
