AMD vs x86/64 was created by Gary Pearman
Please clarify and bare with an old man whose been banging on a few keys.

Does the 2013 DVD contain both AMD and Intel kernels?

I found it odd that on my G1620 POS the kernal seemed to be AMD64, but while trying to work out an HDMI sound problem on a new A6-5400 build, it loaded the x86-64.

By now, I'm very confused and insane over the APU HDMI sound issue (no digital) and looking for a clue. Everything works but the HDMI sound.

Has it loaded the wrong kernel? It works (except the afore mentioned HDMI sound problem), is up to date and doesn't complain.

Its an easy question that doesn't require specs. Is the CAELinux 2013 64-bit DVD for both AMD (specifically A6-5400) and Intel multi processors?

Thanks,
Gary

AMD64 and x86/64 is the same thing, so the problem must lie somewhere else.
