Problems Installing CAELinux2013

Hello All

I am having problems getting CAELinux2013 to run using LiveDVD.

It boots perfectly on my wife's i5 computer.

On my i7, I get the correct initial screen with the various options. However after selecting the LiveDVD option, I get a blank white screen with a flashing cursor in the upper left corner. I have tried using the safe graphics mode, and I get the same result. In both cases, the light on the DVD reader is flashing, so I assume that data is being transferred to RAM.

I have no trouble running Ubuntu 14.04 off a DVD on my computer. I previously had Ubuntu 13.10 on my computer without any problems.

Could this be a video problem. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 610.

Any suggestions?

I can boot CAELinux2011 on my computer off a DVD without any problems!!!

I have downloaded CAELinux2013 (again) and put it on a USB. The USB boot (using 2013) works on my wife's computer. On my computer, the computer hangs on the initial screen.

Has anybody else experienced installation problems with 2013?

Same problem here with my HP Pavilion 500-330.

Intel Core i3 4150. 3,5 GHz - 2 core Hyper-Threading - Intel HD Graphics 4400
Nvidia GeForce G705A

I would be really grateful if someone could help!
